Daniele De Wrachien is currently retired Professor of Agricultural Hydraulics at the department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of the State University of Milan and Member of the Board of Director of the Wessex Institute of Technology (WIT), Southampton, UK. He graduated from the State University of Milan as geologist and obtained his PhD in Advanced Engineering Geology. He performed his duties as Director of the Institute of Agricultural Hydraulics (2000-2006), Director of Computer Centre of the Faculty of Agriculture, (1992-95), Tutor of MPhil and PhD students of the Faculty of Agriculture, External Examiner to MPhil and PhD students, Visiting Professor at the Wessex Institute of Technology (WIT). Daniele received the following Honours and Awards: Award for Truthful Support and Help in Organizing and Improving Scientific Level of the Symposia "Actual Tasks on Agricultural Engineering", Croatian Agricultural Engineering Society, Award in Recognition of Services to the European Society of Agricultural Engineers, Award for outstanding contribution to Engineering Sciences, WIT, Award for the Best Performing Working Body, International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage. Dimitar P Karaivanov had his M.Sc. degree in “Handling and Building Machines and Systems” from Technical University – Sofia, Bulgaria in 1983. He Served as Engineer-designer and Head of the Lifting Equipment Group at the design department of KEM “6 th of September”, Sofia, Bulgaria (electrical forklifts plant). His pedagogic work started in 1985 in University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM) – Sofia, Bulgaria where he served to nowadays. In UCTM he had his Dr. (PhD) degree (in 2000) and Professor (Docent) rank (in 2002) in “Machinery and Machine Elements”. Since 2015 he serves in Faculty Fire Safety and Civil Protection of Academy of Ministry of Interior, Sofia, Bulgaria. He is lecturing “Machine elements”, “Mechanical engineering”, etc. in: University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy – Sofia; Faculty Fire Safety and Civil Protection of Academy of Ministry of Interior – Sofia (since 2007); He also lectured “Engineering method for investigation of compound planetary gear trains” and “Problems of creating of processing machines and equipment” in several Kazakhstan agrarian and technical universities: He was Co-mentor of six graduated PhD students from Croatia (one in “Planetary Gear Trains”) and Kazakhstan (five in “Agricultural Machinery”). Dr. Aliyev Zakir Huseyn Oqlu was born on 3 May 1949 in the family of an employee. In 1972 he graduated with honors from the mechanical faculty of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. At the end of ASOA in 1972 in the person of a specialist with higher education in the Azerbaijan Scientific Research Organization (AzINMASH) for the position of Art. Engineer at the Wellhead Equipment, where he worked since 1975. In 1975, in connection with the results of earlier research papers engaged in the activity profile and thematic community vtch study Inventory of land water resources and dynamics of their changes. Dr Gopal Dixit is working as head of Botany department and Centre of Research in Ethnobotany in Upadhi PG College (MJP Rohilkhand University), Pilibhit, India. He is mentoring and teaching Botany & Environmental Science from last 25 years and guiding students in the completion of their projects/ dissertations. He is actively engaged in research activities specially on Plant Physiology, Pathology, Biochemistry and Ecology n Environment etc. along with Ethnobotany of Indo- Nepal sub Himalayan terai region of Rohilkhand division of UP state of India. He has published more than 50 research papers in peer reviewed and indexed journals of National and International repute. He is serving as Associate Editor, Editorial Board Member, reviewer in various journals. He is performing challenging responsibilities as a Chairman of the International Board of Ethnomedicobotany and also as faculty in the World Academy of Medical Sciences (WAMS). He is a founder president of an NGO Environment Conservation Organization (ECO). His major fields of research are: (A) Effect of fertilizer factory wastes on biological and root-knot disease parameters in different cultivars of Tomato and other vegetables. The suitability and efficacy of certain concentrations of fertilizer wastes has been evaluated both at lab and field trials to establish non- chemical practices for root-knot disease caused by Nematodes. (B) Possible + ve and – ve role of various Bio Chemicals, present in crop plants, in root- knot disease control has also been done on carbohydrates, proteins, amino acids and phenols. (C) “Ethnobotany in the welfare of living beings” is one of the other major research aspects which deals with enumeration of locally growing wild plants used by tribal and rural people living in the vicinity of pilibhit tiger reseve. Compilation of details about plants and their parts being used in Contact/ Touch therapy by tribals and other forest dwellers is under the process.
